Minecraft Circle Generator
A block-by-block blueprint. Set the size, count your materials, and build one row at a time.
1–256 blocks. Dimensions describe the full grid, edge to edge.
Drag the grid to pan. Dashed lines show the center.
Build plan
0/21 rows doneStart at the top of the grid. Each row lists every run of blocks to place.
Row progress can be saved on this browser
Blueprint exports omit row progress. Large print plans use overlapping tiles.

How to build a circle in Minecraft
Choose the full diameter in blocks. Keep the same orientation as the drawing: row 1 is at the top, and column 1 is on the left. These numbers describe the blueprint, not Minecraft world coordinates.
- Prepare the exact block total shown above. A full stack holds 64 blocks.
- Start building and follow each row’s column ranges. Leave gaps between separate ranges empty.
- Mark the row complete when you finish it, then move to the next row.
For this 11 × 11 thin circle, prepare 28 blocks. Row 1 fills columns 4–8, five blocks in one run. Row 2 uses columns 3 and 9, with an empty gap between them. Rows 4–8 use columns 1 and 11. The bottom half mirrors the top.
Compare common circle layouts →Use the oval generator for a wider build
Switch to Oval to set width and height separately. A 31 × 21 thin oval uses 72 blocks with this grid method. The row instructions, materials, and exports all follow the same occupied squares, so you can use the same process for a long hall, pond edge, or oval plaza.
Thin gives a four-neighbor edge. Thick keeps a broader eight-neighbor edge; it is a grid style rather than a wall of any chosen thickness. Filled keeps the full interior.
Odd and even circle centers
An odd diameter such as 11 has a center block. An even diameter such as 16 has its center between four blocks. The dashed center lines mark that difference; they do not add blocks to your material count. Match your build’s center to the same block or gap before laying out the first row.
At 1 or 2 blocks, circles and narrow ovals become small grid patterns. For a clear rounded silhouette, compare a few larger sizes on the Minecraft circle chart.
Frequently asked questions
Is the size a radius or a diameter?
For a circle, it is the full diameter. For an oval, width and height describe the whole grid. Entering 21 creates a 21-block-wide plan.
Can I use it as a pixel circle generator?
Yes. Each square represents one pixel or one Minecraft block. The same discrete grid can be used for flat pixel art or a building footprint.
Will changing the size keep my completed rows?
Changing a plan clears its row progress after confirmation. A shared link carries only dimensions and outline. Saved row progress stays in the same browser.
How do I take the plan into the game?
Download a PNG for a second screen, save the vector SVG, or print the blueprint and row instructions. The tool provides a drawing to follow; it does not place blocks in a game.
