About Our Building Tools

Block Circle Plans is an independent tool for turning circle and oval dimensions into a block-by-block building reference. The diagram, material count, row instructions, and exports all use the same occupied squares.

How the grid works

The tool samples a circle or ellipse at the center of each grid square. Thin keeps its four-neighbor boundary; thick uses an eight-neighbor boundary; filled keeps the interior. A square can be occupied or empty, so a smooth curve becomes a stepped outline.

The method is adapted from Jesse G. Donat’s Circle Generator, available under the MIT License. Our grid method is identified as donatj-2d-v1 on exported plans so the result can be compared later. Different generators may use a different grid rule and count.

Made for a second screen or a sheet of paper

Use the row numbers to follow a build, save progress on the same browser, or take a PNG, SVG, or printed plan beside your game. Row numbers are blueprint coordinates; the tool does not read a world or place game blocks.

This is an unofficial project, independent of Mojang and Microsoft. It uses original geometric graphics rather than official game logos or textures. The website uses ShipAny Two; IBM Plex fonts are distributed under the SIL Open Font License.
